A journey through high-tech architecture

Taking advantage of our visit at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Hotel in London, it was for us a gratification to observe the skyscrapers designed by ours references in high-tech architecture.

30 St Mary Axe known as the Gherkin, designed for the group Swiss Re by Norman Foster & Partners and Arup Group, whom we work with. The building of 180 meters high was completed in 2003.

Also designed by Norman Foster & Partners, the Willis Building of 125 meters. Constructed between 2004 and 2008.

The Lloyd’s building, also known as the Inside Out Building, a work of Roger Stirk Harbour + Patners. The building measure 95,10 meters.

The Leadenhall Building also called the Cheese-grater for because of its distinctive wedge shape, measuring 225 meters high. Designed by Roger Stirk Harbour + Patners and opened in July 2014.

That interesting to see two skyscrapers designed at 40 years of intervals by Roger Stirk Harbour + Patners Building.

To finish the 88 wood street’s skyscraper, another work of Roger Stirk Harbour + Patners, constructed between 1993 and 2001.
